Grand Ballroom
The Windsor's Grand
Ballroom, Melbourne's
premier function room, is
the majestic home of
banquets, gala receptions,
weddings, product launches,
meetings, presentation
dinners and the most special
occasions.
The Grand Ballroom caters
for up to 400 guests
cocktail style, or 220 for a
seated dinner. It has been
superbly refurbished back to
its original condition,
retaining its superb
history, while providing
state-of-the-art equipment.
It is also the home of the
weekly Sunday Brunches.
The Ballroom is ornately
decorated with stained glass
and 24 carat gold leaf, with
the predominant colors are
the rich, creamy shades of
ochre and buff, highlighted
with turquoise and rich
brick red. It features two
working fireplaces.
The seven original ceiling
domes have been restored and
reglazed with stained glass,
and the original brass
gasoliers have been
reproduced.
Canberra Room
The Canberra Room is an
L-shaped Room catering for
up to 60 people cocktail
style or 30 boardroom style.
The room features original
artwork, an antique guilded
mirror, and select pieces of
antique furniture.
The Canberra Room offers
flexible function space and
is popular for small,
private dinners (up to 50),
product presentations and
annual general meetings.

Winston Room
This beautiful private
banqueting room features
natural light from the large
windows with superb feature
drapes.
It caters for up to 40
guests cocktail style or up
to 20 with a boardroom
set-up, and is situated off
of The Windsor's signature
restaurant, 111 Spring
Street restaurant and
cocktail bar. The room is
decorated in lovely creams
and golds.
The Winston Room was The
Windsor's original dining
room in the 1880s, but today
offers classic style with
modern facilities and
five-star service.
Victorian Suites
Once used as permanent
residences, Victorian Suites
offer the sophistication and
charm of yester-year. These
large suites include high
ceilings with antique
furniture, an entrance
hallway, formal lounge and
separate dining room
catering for up to 8 people
for dinner, or 20 people for
cocktails. The Suites are
often used for small
meetings or intimate dinners
or product presentations.
The suites also feature open
fire places, study, stereo
with CD player, video,
master bedroom and marble
bathroom including a spa.

The Windsor's Cricketer's
Bar is a popular Melbourne

century of Australian
cricketing memorabilia, the
bar is a warm and friendly
environment, serving a wide
range of local and imported
beers. The Cricketer's Bar
has recently installed two
new 106cm Plasma television
screens. All major sporting
events will be televised in
the bar via various
free-to-air networks, and
Pay TV networks such as Fox

Grand Ballroom
Australia's only
remaining grand ballroom and
one of the country's finest
dining rooms, The Windsor's
Grand Ballroom is nothing

Featuring impressive stained
glass domes and windows,
marble working fireplaces
and intricately designed 22
carat gold leaf painting,
brass gasoliers, it is also
lavishly furnished with
exquisite Victorian decor.
Today the Grand Ballroom is
used predominantly as a
private function room, but
is available to the public

tea at The Windsor has been
a Melbourne ritual since
